Fond memories of coach and car trips to the great Kent gardens, Windsor and Salisbury. Friday's and our Waitrose shop and a natter in the cafe. Meals and days out around Essex; The reservoir, Beth Chattos. Barbara was great company we always organised our days volunteering at school so they coincided, but also made sure we had time for our day trips out.

We shared a joint interest in gardening and loved discovering new plants and sharing tips. Barbara was a lovely lady and we enjoyed her company for the last three Christmases. She was also a welcome guest to our family parties where her lemon meringue pie always went down a treat.
